The Danskos I've had for years now, are starting to wear and tear, specifically on the insoles of the shoes. This can be a bit bothersome, as I'm a RN and work bedside, 12 hour shifts. I was looking for a new pair of Danskos, since they're amazing, super sturdy, and easy to clean. Random side note: I'm obsessed with llamas. So when I came across a pair of Danskos with llamas on them, I bought them IMMEDIATELY. Just got them today and they're exactly as pictured, EXCEPT... part of the saddle on the llama is stitched on, as in porous thread. This, unfortunately, means that I cannot wear them to work at the hospital as I had originally planned, as any body fluid that would end up on them would be absorbed by the thread on the llama decals. For obvious reasons, this would be especially problematic during this pandemic. That is also the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, as these are not feasible for most healthcare workers to wear to work. Otherwise, these shoes are a total 10/10, and will be my new go-to shoes when off shift.It took a couple of months to realize that my clogs are the only shoes I have that don't cause the corn on my toe to grow. I haven't had a corn in a while. No other shoe I've tried could do that. So that major pain is gone. I have a toe that has hurt for a while in shoes. No pain in these clogs. (Dansko Peggy's hurt, however.) I can take off my shoes at the end of the day and walk around without pain. It makes getting teased for wearing clogs worth it.I don't know how 40 would fit a person who wears 10. I'm 9.5 and they fit great. And I'll wear them with thick socks for warmth and they're fine for me. I have the bicycle hearts and the no prob llama clogs. After about a year, I have no problems with either pair. A miracle.I wear an 8 and have a wide foot. I ordered a EUR 38. They were pretty tight across the top and through the instep and toe box. I returned them and ordered a 9. Better but one shoe seemed smaller and narrower. I know my right foot is slightly bigger but the appearance of the shoe even looked narrower. The left shoe has plenty room, and the right foot although I can fit the tip of my pinky in the back, it’s definitely a bit tighter than the left shoe. I’ve had Dansko clogs in the past that lasted 15 years to where the sole literally split in half that’s how much wear I’ve gotten out of hem The material used today is not rubber like the styles 15 years ago. The surface texture is coated material. Note: look at the video of how the shoe should fit. The heel does lift slightly out of the shoe when you walk, but you will not walk out of them.Very nice.Shoe came damaged. Someone else possibly returned them prior to me ordering them. Paint was missing from the design. There also was an older return label in the boxThese are adorable. Waited for them to be offered in my size....5.5-6 US size. Had to have them stretched at shoe shop because I have very high arch and instep. Then my back got worse so they're on the shelf. I've now had 2 back surgeries. Hoping to put these on an wear them soon!!!! I LOVE them they are so pretty and fun.Ran short. Comfortable beautiful well made colorful love love love them and hope they stretch a bit when I break them in.I couldn’t bring myself to spend so much money on work shoes. After many months of debating with back pain, leg pain, feet pain, I finally bit the bullet and dropped the money on some Danskos, and I am SO happy I did. First thing to realize and accept is that it’s supposed to be loose fitting and slide up and down off you’re heel when you walk. You’ll get used to it. Also, they feel very hard at first and have more arch support than usual. This is what helps your back pain though. The longer I wear them the more comfortable they feel. I love them. They were true to size, I wear 7.5 and ordered 7.5-8. The gray ones I got have a fabric like texture but still clean easily. And best of all- they’re SO cute I get lots of compliments. My back pain was basically non existent after just two nights of wearing them. (Nurse-12hr shifts). My feet also ache less. Definitely worth the money, if you’re debating it just do it! You won’t be disappointed.Love them. Great fit. I’m usually 7.5, the 38 fit perfectly. It’s had to jazz up surgical scrubs but this helps a little.Update: I’ve had them less than 2 months now but the surface is already cracking and rubbing off on one shoe. Definitely the same quality as my other danskos but very cuteI have had dansko clogs before for work. I love these they are so cute. I get multiple compliments on them when I am at workProduct arrived way before estimated date. Exactly as shown. Authentic brand.
